By road:-You can reach Gulmarg by road from Srinagar. The distance is 47 km.

By air:-You cannot reach Gulmarg by air. The nearest airport is Srinagar airport at a distance of 56 km. From the airport, you can hire a taxi.

By train:-There is no train connectivity to Gulmarg. You can reach Jammu by train from different parts of India.

Kongdori - Gulmarg Gondola

Gulmarg Gondola is the second biggest and second tallest cable car in the world and the principal attraction here. Bifurcated into two phases, it carries around 600 people per hour to and from  Apharwat Mountain, a place famous for winter sports.

Phase 1 of Gulmarg Gondola ferries tourists from Gulmarg Resort to Kongdoori Station. It commences at 2,990 m and has a perpendicular rise of 400 m. Alpather Lake

Alpather Lake is a high elevated lake located in the twin Apharwat Peak in Gulmarg. It is also called the Frozen Lake as it remains totally frozen from November to June. It is known for the single-day trek which commences from Gulmarg and covers a track of almost 13km.

Golf Course
