Golden joint' inaugurated  on Chenab Railway Bridge in Kashmir's 

Chenab Bridge in Kashmir, which is also the world's highest railway bridge, is one of the most-awaited development tasks of India. On Saturday (13 August 2022), the Golden Joint of the Chenab Bridge was inaugurated, which links the ends of the deck of the railway bridge.

A number of humans from across the country have been gifted during the unveiling ceremony which saw firecrackers and those celebrating the moment with the aid of using singing the national anthem. The entire place was filled with slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai.

Giridhar Rajagopalan, Deputy Managing Director of Afcons, the firm developing the bridge said, "We can confidently state that the bridge could be roughly 98% entire after the golden joint is finished".
