The state of Odisha, in order to  New tour Locations for Travelers, has given a nod of approval to Odisha has 13 New tour Locations for Travelers state. Out of the 13, ten are earmarked for eco-retreats within overnight stay facilities (lodging), and 3 are nature camps for day visitors.

Under this new eco-tourism project, we are able to get to see more involvement of the local communities in the field of hospitality and the protection of sites. The idea is to offer a chance to the local groups to earn a livelihood from this and add to higher manipulate the webweb sites and preserve those places along with the conventional information of the neighboring communities.

Under the new project, new eco cottages will be set up in Kotia and Deomali hilltop in Koraput, Jakam in Kalahandi, Nawana in Simlipal, Silviculture garden in Phulbani, Muhana Muhana (Astaranga) in Puri, Khadakhai dam in Rairangpur, Mahendragiri (Ganjam) in Berhampur, and Kanjipani Ghat and Hadagarh dam in Keonjhar forest division.

Very soon, Odisha could have a complete sixty-three eco-retreats and nature camps, such as the brand new 13. A lot of notion has been put into developing these eco-tourism sites. The state has also visible the growing popularity of these eco-tourism locations, and the reaction isn't always the simplest from the neighborhood travelers, but also from travelers from everywhere in us and the world.
