The Sikh community around the world celebrates Hola Mohalla, their most significant holy holiday, with enormous fervor and dedication. The Nagar Kirtan, a procession led by the Panj Pyare (five dear ones) and including a variety of religious and cultural performances, kicks off Hola Mohalla. The performance of Gatkas, a historic Sikh martial art form, is also part of the parade. The breathtaking martial arts demonstrations, fictitious combat, and other vibrant activities are really striking. The festival's primary goal is to spread awareness of the Sikh principles of selflessness, bravery, and service.
