 The state government of Rajasthan will organize folk art festivals to promote the tourism industry, which is still recuperating from the COVID-19 pandemic's effects. According to sources, these festivals will seek to support artists and preserve the arts and cultures of the state's many areas.

The state government of Rajasthan plans to conduct 22 different sorts of folk festivals, from the panchayat to the state level, according to records. The tourist agency will be creating a thorough plan for it, and there will be cultural competitions with a budget of INR 27 crore to guarantee its success.

In reference to this, a knowledgeable official noted that the Rajasthan Folk Art Festival, organized at all levels of government from the panchayat to the state, will boost the number of domestic and international visitors to the region. He stated that the festival would be organized in priority at popular local tourism destinations.

The official went on to say that the festival will serve as a vehicle for promoting regional folk musicians who struggled during the pandemic as well as for preserving the folk arts and cultures of different parts of Rajasthan. Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, has even instructed staff to create the plan as soon as possible.

The Minister continued, "Many other unexplored tourist sites in other districts where there is a big potential to promote tourism will be emphasized. Most tourists visit places like Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Bikaner, Alwar, Jodhpur, and Sawai Madhopur."

According to him, the festival is organized so that all of these locations can be clearly showcased to tourists, giving them additional options for their travel plans and the opportunity to stay in Rajasthan for a few extra days.
